       Epsilon Carbon to invest in integrated carbon

       complex in Odisha


          Epsilon Carbon Pvt. Ltd., a leading
       player in the carbon industry, has signed a
       Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)
       with the Government of Odisha to
       invest Rs. 10,000-crore over 10 years, in
       an Integrated Carbon Complex (ICC) in
       Jharsuguda, Odisha.

          The project will include plants for
       speciality carbons (500-ktpa), carbon
       black (300-ktpa) and advanced materials
       (75-ktpa).  The project is expected to
       create approximately 2,000 direct and
       indirect job opportunities, contributing
       to the socio-economic development of
       the region. Epsilon Carbon will also be
       collaborating with the local communities
       to ensure their overall prosperity through
       programmes in key areas such as educa-
       tion, skill development, healthcare, and
       infrastructure.
