Zavenir Daubert, a Haryana-based speciality chemicals firm focusing on corrosion protection and metalworking fluids, has opened a new manufacturing facility at Binola in Haryana.
The company, which has technical collaborations with Daubert of US and Nihon Parkerizing of Japan, has invested $10-mn in the new facility, with 10% of the investment being allocated to advanced software technologies, ensuring seamless integration of Industry 4.0 capabilities.
With a capacity to produce 1,200 kilolitres of chemicals per month, the plant – spread over 2 acres - will primarily cater to the automotive, steel, and construction industries, with automotive making up 70-75% of the company’s current business.
The company is expecting the facility to help ramp up its annual revenue from Rs. 150 crores now to Rs. 1,000-crore in the next five years by catering to both fast-expanding domestic market and certain overseas markets.

There are many aspects of our new integrated facility which are not only ‘India first’, but first in the industry too. At the forefront of smart manufacturing, our plant is designed to rely on advanced haptic technology. Our 10,000-square-foot Technology and Experience Centre at the plant will serve as the hub of our innovation. With highly advanced equipment and cutting-edge facilities for corrosion testing, tribology, microscopy, and chemical analysis, we offer Indian industries access to globally benchmarked technologies.”
The company said its advanced haptic technology will help deliver enhanced precision and efficiency in all of its processes. Starting with raw materials handed by Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) and storage in the Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS), all production processes such as dosing, blending, filling, and labelling processes will be powered by cutting-edge articulated robotics.
Mr. Peter Fischer, Chairman – Daubert Group, said, “Through this facility, we have taken a significant big leap in technological innovation, sustainability, and operational excellence, further setting new benchmarks in the industry.”
