Pune-based pigment and colour solutions provider, Sudarshan Chemical Industries Ltd. has inaugurated its second global head office at the Hillsite Office Building in Schwalbach am Taunus, near Frankfurt, Germany.

The nearly 21,000-sq. ft. facility is located approximately 11 kms from the company’s production site at the Industriepark Höchst and is designed as an open-plan workspace to support integration across its unified global operations.

The new office follows Sudarshan’s acquisition of Germany’s Heubach Group in March 2025 and sits alongside the company’s existing global head office in Pune.

Mr. Rajesh Rathi, Global Chairman and Managing Director, said the Frankfurt office reflects the scale of the company’s global ambitions and the strategic importance of Germany and Europe to its operations.

Dr. Klaus-Dieter Baumgart, Chief Technology Officer of Sudarshan Chemical Industries and Managing Director of Sudarshan Germany Horizons GmbH, said Frankfurt has been central to the company’s global operations and described the new office as a foundation for its next phase of growth.

With a combined heritage of over 270 years in pigment manufacturing following the Heubach integration, Sudarshan now operates across 120-plus countries, with 19 manufacturing sites and over 4,000 global customers. The company offers a portfolio of organic, inorganic, and pearlescent pigments used across coatings, plastics, inks, cosmetics, and other applications.
