Eurofragance names Shekhar Srinivasan as India MD

Spain-based fragrance house Eurofragance has appointed Mr. Shekhar Srinivasan as Managing Director for India, with the company saying the move reinforces its commitment to a market it considers among its fastest-growing globally. Mr. Srinivasan joined the company on June 8, 2026.

Eurofragance has had a presence in India since 2018 and has since built a local organisation of more than 50 employees serving the fine fragrance, home care, and personal care categories, the company said.

Mr. Srinivasan brings over two decades of global leadership experience across the specialty chemicals, fragrance, and consumer goods industries, with a track record in business growth, commercial transformation, and strategic development.

In his new role, Mr. Srinivasan will lead Eurofragance India, focusing on business growth, customer partnerships, and expanding the company's market presence, including the development of a new manufacturing facility in India.

Joan Pere Jimenez, Chief Executive Officer, Eurofragance, said Mr. Srinivasan's experience and leadership track record in complex markets would help build on the company's momentum in India and strengthen its position in the fragrance sector.

Before joining Eurofragance, Mr. Srinivasan served as Global Business Head at Godrej Industries (Chemicals), where he managed a global portfolio and delivered revenue and profitability growth. He has also held leadership roles at DSM-Firmenich, Ingevity India, Aranca, and PetroTel Inc. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering and a Master of Science in Petroleum Engineering.
