Disproquima, a Spanish family-owned life sciences distributor, has acquired Enzym, a Polish distributor of cosmetic ingredients, in a move to strengthen its presence in Central Europe and expand its personal care portfolio. The deal was completed on May 25, 2026.
Founded in 2015 and based in Lodz, Enzym brings an established portfolio of cosmetic ingredients and customer relationships in the Polish market. Its formulation expertise and customer base align with Disproquima’s personal care segment, which the acquirer said it intends to grow across the region.
Ms. Agnieszka Choynowska, former co-owner of Enzym, will continue to lead the business as Country Manager for Poland. Ms. Choynowska said the two companies share a common philosophy on client relationships, and that Disproquima’s global network would allow Enzym to offer greater value and support to Polish partners.
“Their strong market expertise, customer-centric culture and deep knowledge of the personal care industry perfectly align with our values,” said Ms. Sandra Sánchez, CEO at Disproquima. “This strategic step strengthens our presence in Central Europe and enhances our ability to provide customers with even greater technical proximity and specialised solutions.”
Disproquima said the acquisition extends its reach across four continents.
