Mumbai-based CBC Corporation (India) Pvt. Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Japanese trading firm, CBC Co. Ltd., has announced that its Ingredients & Packaging Solutions (IPS) Division has signed an exclusive strategic partnership with Metalco-Alupack for distribution of the latter's pharmaceutical aluminium packaging products across India.
Italy-based Metalco-Alupack specialises in the manufacturing of seamless anodised aluminium containers for chemical and pharmaceutical products, particularly sterile APIs.
Mr. Mario Bartolomei, Managing Director, Metalco-Alupack, said the company was expanding its presence in the Indian pharmaceutical market and that CBC India's industry expertise and market reach made it an ideal distribution partner. “Together, we look forward to delivering high-quality pharmaceutical aluminium packaging solutions that support product integrity, regulatory compliance and patient safety,” he added.
Mr. Durgesh Sharma, Managing Director, CBC India, said the partnership would combine Metalco-Alupack's expertise in aluminium processing and pharmaceutical packaging to create growth opportunities in India.
